BSc(Eng)
Student Vacation Work
Peralex
offers a limited number of positions to
university students who
require vacation work during the course
of their BSc(Eng)
degree
in electrical, electrical and computer, or
mechatronics engineering.
These
positions are available from November until
the middle of February the
next year. For the end of 2011, please
see the details below.
Requirements
- We
currently offer positions to students
who are in their third academic
year, i.e. you should currently be doing
mainly third year courses.
- Applicants
must be studying for a BSc(Eng) /
BEng / BIng in
Electrical/Electronic/Electrical and
Computer/Mechatronics Engineering.
- Applicants must
average at least 67% in the courses
already completed.
- Applicants
must be reasonably proficient in C/C++
programming. You need not be an
expert.
- Preference
will be given to students who are either
citizens or permanent
residents of South Africa, but others
are encouraged to apply.
- Applicants
must be prepared to be interviewed in
Bergvliet, Cape Town towards the
end of September.
- You must be available to work for
at least 6 weeks between mid November
and mid February the following
year.
